Why Is The Skin Important For Our Body?

Our skin is a flexible, waterproof covering that protects us from the outside world. It prevents the harmful germs from entering our body. It is the largest organ of our body and highly sensitive to touch, temperature and pain.

The skin tells us about the happenings around our body. The skin protects us and prevents damage from the sun’s harmful rays. By the process of sweating, the skin helps to regulate the body temperature.
